An exchange is when we give in return for something received – this can be anything from money, ideas, gifts, medical or financial aid. Trade, emigration, wars and disasters have influenced the world as we know it today. Our modern-day world is changing quickly and seems to be a smaller place due to improvements in communications and transport. Interactions and exchanges across the borders have become easier and faster. These different cultural, economic, sociological and language interactions have transformed and characterised our modern-day world – sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

Are they still legal?                                                    I/To cross the border is an act of transgression                                                                                  In the world there are a lots of barriers, borders and walls as natural as material. For exemple the border between the United States and Mexico is very long, it is more than 3000 km. The border gets through the desert, the mountains and the rivers. It is most watched and most frequented. The border is very dangerous because people has to cross the hot desert and the conditions are difficult :   people havE got little water and little food. Several hundred migrants die every years. Illegally, the drug dealers built tunnels sophisticated to make cross the goods. Millions of legal and illegal immigrants crossed the border. It is in the United States where the immigrants are most numerous because the United States represent the dream and the hope for the immigrants.
