The 3 documents made available to us are extracts which all are on the theme of work, they are about progressive and innovative work programs but there are similarities and differences between these types of work.

I/ Work Modes

All the doocuments are about work in Canada and the first two documents show a first similarity : they talk about work in companies, more precisely the first document is based on Canada’s Top 100 Employers and the other about Data Scientist co-op. On the contrary, the last one talks about David Back working at home through social networks, so it’s not the same things beetwen the 3 documents because the first two highlight the group work and the fird, individualism.

Working alone and at home can make it difficult to integrate into society but can also create your own business and be your own boss. In the same way we can say that working in a company allows to see more people so the coworkers can make friends lead to competition and  so create conflicts and tensions.

So in both cases you can found advantages and these are a good idea because they can attract more employees. Some prefer to spend time with their families than enjoy workplace benefits.

About the family, David Back prefer work at home. It’s a stay at home dad who has linked his private life to his professional life which allows him to share time with his son, we find the same idea as document 1 with parental leave. Moreover, his job is an activity which he likes so it’s also an entertainment for him like and we can find a link with the doc 2 and the many entertainmeny proposed and we can say that these are innovative programs, they create activities
