I divided my presentation into three parts.

First I will explain the course of this terrorist attack

Secondly I will give you the consequences of this attack for the United States

To conclude, I will end up giving my opinion

September 11, 2001 the United States is for the second time attacked on their own territory. This attack is the largest attack ever perpetrated in history, strike the international business center: the twin towers of the World Trade Center located in Manhattan in New York

Al-Qaeda terrorists struck the twin towers with the hijacking of the two airliners (Boing767).

Less than two hours after the impact, the twin towers collapsed due to the fire caused by the explosion of the aircraft, and structures weakened after the impact.

The attacks of September 11, make 2977 victims, not to mention collateral victims.

CONSEQUENCE OF ATTACK

The attacks of September 11, 2001 caused a huge disarray in the United States, President George Washington Bush put in place measures to fight against terrorism.

The responsibility of Osama bin Laden, in the attacks of September 11, was quickly proved, by the investigation of the FBI, and, since September 18, 2001, the United Nations Security Council asked the Taliban to apply the resolution 1333, which was to extradite Osama bin Laden. Mullah Omar, leader of the Taliban, refused to surrender the leader of al-Qaeda, asking for evidence of his involvement in the attacks.

Upon this refusal, the Americans and their allies prepared to attack the country.

On October 7, 2001, US forces and their allies invaded Afghanistan to destroy terrorist networks and capture bin Laden, who will be killed only 10 years later, in 2011!

The Americans will imprison the captured "Afghan Arabs" at the US military base in Guantanamo, Cuba. Saddam Hussein's 2003 war against Iraq is a collateral consequence of the 9/11 attacks.

MY OPINION :

For me these attacks marked a turning point in the history of the United States, they are also great attacks that contributed in a certain way to what has become America today.

It also shows that the arcs of crises have gradually spread because now the Western countries said "stable" politically become dangerous because of terrorists.
