I'm going to talk about the notion of myths and heroes. Iwould like to give a quick definition of that notion. Briefly, a myth is a legend telling a story, a well-know tale that everybody knows about great monsters or heroes, based on real or unreal stories wich happened in the past. Then, a hero can be imaginary heroes endowed with superpowers, in charge of saving the planet and the people in danger or real people who can have a role to play to change the world's history.

To speak about this notion, I've chosen to speak of heroism of war photographers and I'll try to answer the question “War photographers are heroes? ”

First, I'll try to say War photgrapher is a job, then War photographers are heroes

I-To begin with, a war photohrapher is a job. To illustrates this point, we have the example of Maclolm Browne, who is a famous photographer for his photo of The Burning Monk. He won the Pullitzer Price and the World photo of the year in 1963. We see in this photo a Monk who has just immolated himself to protest against the persecutions. There are witnesses all around but nobody racts to make sure it strike everyone's mind. The President Kennedy commented on thiqs picture to highlight the grat emotion thoughou the world. This document can help us to answer the Q because in that place the real hero isn't the photographer but the monk who gave his life and sacrifice himself.

II- However, War photographers can be seen has heroes.

Example of a photojournalist who wrotes a book called “It's what I do”. This photojournalist eplains that she has been kidnapped twice, the second time in Lybia when there was the conflict between Khadafi troops and rebel force. She also went to Afghanistan, Iraq and CONGO. Two of her drivers were killed. Though te situation was horrible she never complained. So this document cen help us too to answer the question because sometimes war photographers can be see as heroes.

To conclude, War photographers is a job before all, but this is more a job. I think war photographers are heroes in our societies.
