Introduction Let me introduce myself. My name is Veda Leyan PEREIRA and I am here to talk about Adele. She is a singer, songwriter, musician, composer and arranger.

Point 1 Adele was born on 5th May 1988. She was abandoned by her father when she was 2, therefore, she was raised by a very young mother. Despite her difficult upbringing she graduated in 2006. Her partner is Simon Konecki. They have a child who was born on 19th October 2012.

Point 2 First, she posted a song on Myspace, so she was contacted by a producer. Then, she released 19 in 2008. It was her first album, moreover, it was a great success.

Point 3 Afterwards, Adele released 21 in 2011. It was second album moreover it was an even greater success. On top of it all she won numerous awards: in 2011 BRIT and American Music Awards and in 2012 Grammy award. Furthermore, she was the first artist to sell more than 3 million copies of an album in a year and she won an Oscar of the best music song – Skyfall in 2012.
