  1. It’s famous people

-Harvey Milk was an icon for gay rights during the 1970s , he became one of the first openly gay officials in the United States in 1977, when he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Milk's ascension had come at an important time for the gay community. Despite the fact that some people tried to crush the gay communauty by flighting against then like Anita Bryant

-Levi Strauss has created the famous brand of the levi’s jeans , and by the way there is a levi’s store on market street in San Francisco , one of the most famous levi’s  shops in the world

- John sutter  owned the land where gold was first discovered, beginning the famousCalifornia Gold Rush

  1. It’s historical events
  • The gold Rush in 1849 , there is a lot of people who travelling in California to find the gold  
  • It took place in 1967 , in San Francisco in the height Asbury neighborhood .
  • More than 75000 people aged between 15 and 30 gathered in that area of San Francisco . They intended ti share a new religion , the religion of love . They wanted to denounce the Vietnam war and violence in general . There were fighting for liberty equality between races and genders.
  1. It’s famous places
  • Alatraz , it’ a island also know as “the rock “ up to 1933 it was a fortress occupied by the americain military.

But the island is also  know for it’s period as penitentiary , where many of the Usa’s most famous and dangerous criminal were securely locked  up to ensure the protection of the américan people like alcapone , the notorious mafia boss

And Robert Franklin Stroud who became famous for raising , studying and writing about bird .

  • The golden Gate Bridge has linked San Francisco ans the Marin Peninsula for more than 50 years. This bridge whish was then the largest bridge in the world .

  • Silicon Valley is nickname for the Southern portion of the San Francisco Bay of Area , which is located in Northern California . It’s home to many of the world largest high – tech corporations and thousands of startup ecosystem for high-tech innovation and development in the United States. It was in the Valley that the silicon based integrated circuit , the microprocessor and the microcomputer , among other key technologies, were developed . As of 2013 , the region employed about quarter of million information technology workers
