Places and forms of power : When power is misused, how do people rebel against it?

I'm going to talk about the notion Place and forms of Power. First I would like to give a definition of the notion.In politics and social, power is the ability to influence people's behavior. To live together, members of a community accept the rules, the laws. This helps to create social cohesion but can also lead to conflict and tension. So, now I will try to explain : When power is misused, how do people rebel against it?

I will first talk about Margaret Thatcher in power of history and consequences and finally I will talk about a form of solidarity created through this.

In the world people are elected to guide the people and govern the country. Margaret Thatcher is an English woman politician and she was the first female prime minister of the UK. She was elected 3 times in a row an she belonged to the conservative party. Margaret was nicknamed the Iron Lady which means she was inflexible, she privatized the national industries. She close the pit for a year but this decision does not have any more to everybody what caused the rebellion and the discontent of the minors finding it unemployed . In 1984, miners went on the strike because she wanted close the mine to break the miner's unions.

While Margaret Thatcher is in power, the National Union of Minors votes the strike. During their march in London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decided to raise money to help the families of minors. But the group seems embarrassed to receive their help. The activist group is not discouraged. After spotting a mining village in the depths of Wales, they will hand over the money to the workers in their own hands. Thus begins the story of two communities that opposes all who unite to defend the same cause ...

When the power is misused or disturbs the people demonstrate and rebel through it on discover another form of power not politics but the social. Since people who are against this policy or decison will unite and be in solidarity with each other.
