I am going to deal with the notion spaces and exchanges. To begin, I would give you a definition of this notion. An exchange is when we give in return for something received - this can be anything from money, ideas, gifts, medical or financial aid. Trade, emigration, wars and disasters have influenced the world as we know it today. An Exchanges can be different cultural, economic, sociological and language interactions. This echanges have transformed and characterized our modern-day world and have do that we become. We can define the notion of spaces by territories, they can be geographic, virtual / physical.

The territories influence the world by the concept of border, this characterizes the countries, culture, mentalities.

This years in class we studied several documents about spaces and exchanges. In order to illustrate this notion I have choose to talk about the consumers habits, the consequences of consumings habits and the towards positive solution and attempt to answer this questions :How consumerism impacts our thinking. To answer this question I will presents many documents.

Firstly, the document "I shop therefore I am" shows us the reality existing in a consumerist capitalist world, where society is under pressure, in the obligation to buy in order to be accepted.

Given the capitalist world in which we live, purchasing power plays an important role in relation to the standard of living of others and which we want to show to others, so society functions like a machine that pushes us without stop, to behave at the same time unconsciously, of compulsive buyers, because we find an immense presence of propaganda and advertising leading us to obtain all the fashion products or the products which are clichés at this moment.

The message in the images has a dual purpose, including making the people of the capitalist world realize and stopping to continue.

To continue, we will talk about a phenomenon from consumerism, the Black Friday,
In the United States and Canada, Black Friday is a one-day business event that takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the document “Trampled to death” speak about a death of a Walmart employee, he was stamped by shoppers.
So we can see the animosity of the buyers, the idea of saving on objects that we would have paid more or buy double for the same price, forces people to jostle, fight to 'get what they want, this is the typical example of the drifts of the consumer society, putting cheaper prices in order to force people to consume more and more, some were there from the previous day to wait before the store, and these same buyers broke down the door in order to enter, at the same time trampling on the employee who was trying to hold back the crowd.

To conclude we can see that consumerism has a bad influence on our thinking, it pushes us to consume more and more in the logic of a "social success" characterized by the possession of good, pushing us to have inappropriate behaviors in order to to be able to consume and to feel "alive"..
