Hello, I am the volunteer of the Eva Longoria foundation. I am in front of you to present you this beautiful foundation that helps the Latina. We are looking for potential sponsors to raise funds for our project.

The Latin population is growing in the United States, it is about 25 million. In 2050, they will represent 15% of the population. But the problem is at the level of education and that is why we need your help, only 15% of Latinas have a college degree (diploma), they have ambition but they can’t do it. As I said the Eva Longoria foundation was created to help the Latin population to be successful. We have put in place an educational program, which could help to regulate the poverty of this population. This program relies on parents, they must follow a 9 week program. We teach parents the steps to enrol their children in college, when they complete the program, 90 % of children finish high-school. The program is modeled after UCLA’s civil rights programs.

There is also a entrepreneur program, Here are some arguments to convince you to help us, please take them into account. Latinas have strong business instincts, They start their business at 8 times the rate of men, Latina business adds diversity to a competitive global economy, the Foundation provides technical tools and access to capital.

This foundation is good for these women and for the economy and society.

The Eva Longoria Foundation is evolving with many future project with helping women in both education and entrepreneurship opportunities. New initiatives that we’re exploring are extracurricular activities in order to expand access and help motivate students to keep their grades up and expose them to college. We’re also looking into educating teachers more into women so they can serve as better role models and help recruit college graduates into teaching.
