She became known at 9years old with her first professional acting role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series , she is nominated for numerous awards for her role . She has made many other films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower or Beauty and the Beast . Firstly Emma start asking questions about gender stereotypes long time ago , at 19years she join the Brown University for be graduated from English literature at 24years in 2014 , and the same year she has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador of Women ONU . Indeed , in september 2014 she gives a remarked speech at the United Nations Headquarters in New York , she called men and women to make gender equality a priority . Despite receiving threats to dissuade her from making her feminist speeches but she continues to lead her feminist fight , her famous motto is He for She .
