Problématique: what is her fight for women’s rights?

My presentation will deal with Emma Watson.
We will see in a first step her biography then we will focus on her fight for women’s rights
Emma Watson is a British actress, born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, she is the daughter of 2 British lawyers practicing in France.
In 1999 she was contacted by casting agent who discovered her through her drama teacher and spent eight auditions to land one of the three main roles in Harry Potter saga. She became famous at the age of 10 by playing the part of Hermione Granger she will play for 10 years.
Despite her success, she joined the University of Brown in the United States at the age of 19, where she studied English literature and graduated in 2014.
In 2012 she plays her first dramatic role in the movie “The World of Charlie”.
Now what is her fight for women’s rights?
In 2014 she was appointed Good will ambassador by the UN Women, is using her fame and position with the United Nations to shine a spotlight on the problem of gender inequality and sexual assault at universities and colleges around the world. in September she made a speech to defend the cause of women feminist and against injustice, she fights to put an end to inequalities between the sexes.
In his speech she says!
“I decided that I was a feminist, and this seemed uncomplicated to me. But my recent research has shown me that feminism has become an unpopular word. Women are choosing not to identify as feminists. Apparently, I’m among the ranks of women whose expressions are seen as too strong, too aggressive, isolating, and anti-men. Unattractive, even.
In 2017 she plays the role of Belle in Disney’s new adaptation of the classic “beauty and the best”.
In 2015 she becomes the sponsor of HeForShe company, is a program dedicated to improving the status of women and inviting men and boys around the world to stand in solidarity with women and girls as they make that make gender equality a reality.
