To celebrate Immigrant Day, make a speech to pay tribute to the Asian immigrant who came to USA through Angle Island.

Dear fellow Americans,

Today, on Immigrant Day, we come together to honor and pay tribute to the countless immigrants who have come to our great nation from all corners of the world. In particular, I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the Asian immigrants who came to the United States through Angel Island.

For those who may not be familiar with Angel Island, it was a major immigration station located in San Francisco Bay that served as the gateway for Asian immigrants entering the United States. Between 1910 and 1940, hundreds of thousands of immigrants, mostly from China and Japan, arrived on the shores of Angel Island seeking a better life for themselves and their families.

But the journey was not an easy one. Many Asian immigrants faced discrimination and persecution upon arriving in the United States. They were often subjected to harsh living conditions and endured lengthy detentions and interrogations before they were allowed to enter the country.

Despite these challenges, the Asian immigrants who came through Angel Island persevered. They worked hard, built businesses, and contributed greatly to American society. They brought with them their culture, traditions, and values, enriching the fabric of our nation and making it stronger.

Today, we honor their bravery, their determination, and their unwavering spirit. We are grateful for the sacrifices they made and the legacy they left behind. Their stories remind us that the American dream is still alive and that it is achievable for those who are willing to work hard and persevere.

As we celebrate Immigrant Day, let us remember that we are a nation of immigrants. Let us embrace and celebrate our diversity and honor the contributions that immigrants have made and continue to make to our great nation.

Thank you.
