Myths and Heroes :

introduction :

i'm going to talk about the notion of myths and heroes.first of all i would like to give a quick definition of that notion. A hero is a person admirated for his achievements,noble qualities and great courage.they can be fictinal like batman or supermant and some others.but here we shall get interest in heroes we studied in class. To illustrate this notion i'll try to answer the question « what way can dreams and ambitions change a life ? ».In a first part i'll talk about the importance of having objectives and dreamsIn a second part i'll talk of the motivation to suceed. I'll conclude with how the heroes can serve as an example for everyone.

I-Have an objective :

to begining i'll speak about rita,a young Liverpudlian working class hairdresser dissatisfied with the routine of her work and social life that why one day she decided to go to an open university to cultivating himself and to studing the english litterature. thank to her dreams she found the courage to resume her studies she take a tutor for help him, she read shakespear and she go to the theatre. Rita with her life' choice give good advice to the people who stop studies or who want to be more cultivated she show at everybody that if you have dreams and objectives you can do everything you want despite of your living condition or your social position that's why we can see rita as an modern hero.

II-motivation to suceed :

I’m going to focus on Barack Obama, the hero of modern times: He was born on 1961 in Hawaii bring up by his mother because his dad die in a car accident. He studies first and foremost at Columbia College then at Harvard. Before become president he worked as community organizer, politician and statesman .In thetime, there was a lot of racism in the USA, nevertheless Obama succeed to become the 44th president in 2009. He is the first African American president to be elected in the USA. In the same years he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. At the head of the country, Obama completed foreign policy goals:he ending the war in Iraq and securing nuclear weapons. Moreover, he completed domestic policy goals: insuring healt insurance becomes available to all and combating the effects of the recession. In his speech in 2009 obama give motivation to everybody as saying that everybody are egal he say «we are united» he push the society in the positive way he is considerated as a hero for lots of people and during his entire life he had to have a lot of motivation to succeed.

III- example for everyone :Conclusion

obama as rita are very good example of suceed in life for everyone but the Esquire magazin is a good example too in fact the book writed by Douglass Kennedy which speak about ned a boy with lot of motivation who want to live in newyork . which proves neds' motivation is the sentence that is said « there's only one person in the whole wild world who will ever stop you from getting to were you want to be and that's yourself ». all these person had need two things to succeed a goal and dreams and motivation flawless and for me that the modern definition of an heroe a person
