my name is Jeason basso , i am twenty seven years and i live in boston for two years .I ‘m going to explain you how i immigrated in united states . In 2010 I was in the south of France . I had a ingenior graduate and i wanted to work in a car company like Peugeot or Renault . I sent a lof applications but because of the crisis i always had negativ answers.

I used to speak english because my uncle was britanic so i decided to look for a work in another country. I sent letters to big companies in america .One month later i received a letter of Ford company telling me they had a little job for me . This jobs was to manage the storage of the cars before the sell. My skills were superior but i diceded to take it because it was an opportunity to have a first jobs .

I had a little of money because i worked in a restaurant by night and i bought a lowcost ticket to go to new work by plane. Unfortunaly I didn’t have enougth money to go from New York to Boston.When i was in the plane i met two french students who went to Boston at the university . They had too a small budget to travel and we decided to share a car renting from New York to Boston.

During the first days i lived in a friend appartement .I was very well welcomed in the company and they called me the « little french » . The jobs was simple but interesting and i had very good relations with my manager. They knowed i had a ingeniorr formation and they transfered me in the disign office.

I can really say i lived the american dream because when you have skills and motivation the americans give a chance to you !

Today i manage a project for a new car and i have 10 people
