Founded in 1884, M&S has grown from a single market stall to an international, multi-channel retailer. Remaining true to our founding values of Quality, Value, Service, Innovation and Trust, we work hard to ensure our offer continues to be relevant to our customers and we still build on the foundations that we have laid.
As part as one of our best customers, we would like to inform you about our last news. A few months ago, a survey showed that ethical and health issues are becoming important factors in consumers’ buying decisions. M&S is really concerned about satisfying the consumption needs in a way that is compatible with the planet needs. Considering this, we naturally decided to develop fair trade-oriented policy and strategies.
Therefore, we are proud to announce you that this program will begin next month with the launching of a new fair trade clothing range. Buying these products you will thus contribute towards improving Indian cotton farmers’ livelihoods. This new collection will be available in our stores but also on our online shop and will be identified with the fair trade specific logo:
