Look out for anger

In the feature article, “Look out for anger” in the Calgary Herald newspaper, Sharon Adams shows how to manage our emotions. To do this, she interviewed people to find out how they got there. It’s important for each of us to know their own limits.

         First of all, the author mentions that becoming angry for something that doesn’t really matter can lead us to feel bad. Feeling bad about unimportant things can affect our mental or physical health. She wants to demonstrate how anger can be taking positively. Otherwise, if you control your anger you won’t feel regretful. So when someone gets assertive, or aggressive it can harm our self-control.  Therefore, the only person to blame is our self, according to Byrnes.  However, it’s useful to be alarm of this problem because there are a lot of people that are affected by anger.

        In addition, Gilman reported that some people tend to be categorized as an innocent and others more like an offender.  As has been mentioned earlier, anger can affect our physical health. For instance, men can be more susceptible by heart attacks than women.  Advisers suggested help to control and take care of this status. It is our task to collect the signals of our anger in order to remedy to them. Those indicators could appear in our face such as feeling heat on their whole body or turn red in their face. In this summary, Sharon Adams says that it’s beneficial to find ways to overcome our anger like exercise to repose our selves. Thus, when we establish different ways to cure our bad habits we help our body to better oxygenate, to be less tense and it’s good for stress relief.

        Finally, being aggressive bring negative vibes in our lives. In fact, the best thing to do is to stay calm, peaceful and control our reactions in difficult situations.
