        1. Definition sustainable development

        

        -A development who don't compromise the ability of the future generations to meet their needs while the actual generation meet and benefit from their own needs.

        -The development need to check at least three conditions to be considered as a sustainable development : social, economic and environmental. We can add a fourth consideration : political.

II – sustainable cicites

        1. Definition

        

        -A sustainable city is designed with consideration of environmental impact (air pollution, water pollution etc.) it can be called an "eco-city".

        -A sustainable city offers a good quality of life to current residents and check the coditions of sustainable development.

        2.Example of a sustainable city

        -It's not really a sustainable city, but this city is one of the leading city to the way of sustainability. It's Eugene near Portland
