Global warming and ecological solutions

Write a short paragraph about ecological solutions that can be taken to change people's way of doing so as to improve life quality in the city where you live.

During the last decades of urbanisation, industrialization and population growth, the atmosphere has been polluted. Human activities have increased the amount of carbon emissions and other dangerous gases. All of this have increased the temperature of the earth's surface and have provoked the melting of ices, heat waves, droughts and other big disasters. But yet we can change people's way of doing by finding ecological solutions in order to improve life quality in the city where we live.

First of all, we can use the renewable resourses (like sun, wind, water ect.) instead of the non-renewable resourses in order for generating energy that produces no greenhouse carbon or gases emissions from fossil fuels and reduces some types of air pollution. Also each of us can help by saving water or collecting rain water for watering, building a good isolation instead of using heating systems that use electricity, setting up solar panels to collect solar's energy. Secondly recycling is also a solution to reduce the waste : many components like glass, plastic, paper, metal or biodegradable rubbish can be recycled, we can reduce packaging and buying useless stuffs to facilitate the reduction of waste. Then for our trips, green transports are the best solutions, for exemple buying electric cars or solar cells cars, taking public transports instead of our cars to reduce CO2 emissions, moreover walking or cycling if our appointments are near. Last of all, we can grow our own vegetables and fruit with natural fertilizers and pesticides, it contributes to our earth and our health.

To conclude, those simple things contribute to improve our life quality, but also repel irreversible concequences and help the next generations.
