I would like to make you visit London because I find that this city is great let’s visit London

To begin with you can go to London by plane, boat and by train.

When you arrive in London there are many things to visit and to do.

First you can go shopping. For instance there is oxford street and carnaby street.

You can find shoes, clothes and a selfish fridge…

The shoes are more expensive in France then in England.

 Then if you want to eat you can eat in a pub food such as fish and chips, pies, onion rings and so on.

You can visit museums (free) and monuments such as Tower of London.

THE TOWER OF LONDON

Its construction began towards the end of the year 1066 as part of the Norman conquest of England. The White Tower (White Tower) which gave its name to the whole castle.

The castle was used as a prison from 1100. It also served as a grand palace and royal residence.

The Tower of London has played a vital role in the history of England.

The tower was oriented to overhang the Saxon London what archeologist Alan Vince considers to have been deliberate . It visually dominated the surrounding area and controlled the traffic on the Thames .

The tradition of sheltering the jewels of the crown in the tower dates back to the reign of Henry III. The Jewel House was built specifically to house the regalia including crowns, scepters and ceremonial swords.

It became a world heritage site in 1988.

Today, the Tower of London belongs to Queen Elisabeth II and counts no less than 2,741,126 visitors a year.

Although the entrance is expensive, the visit is nonetheless entertaining and informative, to be done at least once to better understand British history and traditions.
