Today, I’m going to talk about Diana’s life, and more specifically about the reasons that made her an appreciated person by brittanics.

During this oral ,  I would begin by briefly reminding you who was diana . after that I would develop the reasons that made her a loved person of Brittanics and finally I would make a conclusion  .

First, before getting to the heart of the matter, I need to briefly remind you who she was. Diana Frances Spencer was born on 1 July 1961 in Sandringham and is an English aristocrat. In 1981 she married Charles, Prince of Wales, with whom she had two children: William in 1982, and Harry in 1984. Her tumultuous marriage to Prince Charles ended with their divorce in 1996.She became "Lady" when her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer. Lady Diana remained her nickname, even after becoming Princess of Wales when she married Prince Charles. She died on August 31, 1997 in Paris during a car accident in a tunnel of the French capital at the age of 36, her death arouses international emotion.

Thanks to Diana, an aging institution has been able to be modernized. Her more flexible attitude brings a wind of renewal to the protocol. With Lady Diana, the monarchy is no longer just a symbol, it becomes useful. She used her notoriety to support low-profile causes such as the fight against AIDS and anti-personnel mines.

She owes its great popularity to its proximity to the people. Unlike other members of the royal family, more rigid on protocol, diana does not hesitate to kneel to find herself at the height of children or people in wheelchairs. She then forced the monarchy to come down from its ivory tower to get closer to its people.

Diana was seen as a role model for young women. The similarities between their own lives and that of one of the most celebrated women in history, such as infidelity and the need to flourish despite what is expected of us, allowed them to associate themselves with her . An extraordinary person experiencing ordinary tragedies is the major factor in describing the public’s attachment and interest in her.

Because of her media interest, including emotional distress, she is one of the world’s most famous women of the late 20th century. She is also a global icon of the humanitarian cause. Years later, the memory of the icon does not go away: films are always dedicated to her, trends are born from her outfits, and social networks celebrate the woman she was. Diana is more than just a princess, she’s a living myth.
