Diana’s full name is Diana Frances Spencer

1. She became the first woman in the royal family to give birth outside the palace

The first rule that Lady Diana has changed when entering the Royal Family is that she was the first to give birth outside the palace.
Never in the past had a woman of the royal family experienced this. But Princess Diana chose to give birth to her two children in a hospital, reversing all the rules.

2.Diana had her own opinion about raising children

The seconde is that she had her own opinion of her childre’s education.

Princess Diana rejected the formalities and raised her children a little differently. She did not like to part with her children for her princess duty, so she decided that William and Harry would travel with her and their father when they were to perform their duties in other countries. When she spoke to the children, Lady Di was not afraid to show warm maternal feelings in public. Before, the heirs of the throne were educated at home before school. William and Harry became the first heirs to the throne to go to kindergarten. While taking them away when she could.
Princess Diana tried to make her children’s childhood normal: she accompanied them to attractions, allowed them to wear jeans and T-shirts and travel with them on public transport. When they grew up, she took them to animal shelters and hospitals to show them life outside the palace walls.

3. Very open-minded, think of others, altruistic.

The third is that she made visits to the sick family, we can say that the royal family did not find this correct.Princess Diana’s name is associated with charity. In the royal family, she was the “queen of hearts and people. She hugged people with HIV while there was still a lot of fear about the method of transmission of the virus, visited leprosy patients, fought for the ban of anti-personnel mines and even went to minefields, it also helped the homeless and the elderly.
People loved it, she became a true symbol of generation, an icon.

As for demonstration affection: according to protocol, members of the royal family can not be affectionate. Princess Diana has often violated this rule and, for example, has often cuddled children and hugged the sick.

-The fight against AIDS

Lady Di was committed to the fight against AIDS by becoming the sponsor of the Aids Trust in 1991 she also pronounced this sentence that will mark the minds: "AIDS sufferers need to be embraced, like everyone else."
On April 9, 1987, she was photographed while she was shakings the hand of a person with AIDS, the photo was taken around the world. In doing so, Lady Di wanted to show the general public that AIDS is not transmitted by simple contact, as the population thought at the time.
Later, she opened a specialized care centre in southern London, the Landmarks Aids Centre. During her speech she said: "AIDS does not make people dangerous. You can shake their hands, hold them in your arms. You can even welcome them into your homes and workplaces."
