Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to guide the reader through Kiecore tools and standards for project management and control during the production phase (Build Work). For quick "Step by step" instructions with the Kiecore systems, please refer to the Knowledge Management Center (KMC).
A project has a life cycle generally divided into four stages namely the initiation, the planning, the execution & control and the close-out. Each stage is a process including several activities. The Project Control Flow Diagram represents a list of activities with their relation to each process.
At Ganotec, the management of these activities is now carried out according to the standard operating procedures of Kiewit Energy Group (KEG). It is also performed using applications and systems developed and implemented by the Kiecore group of Kiewit.
The KEG’s Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) includes the eighteen engineering standards and common practices of the Kiewit Energy Group.
Each Kiecore’s application or system has one or more functions. The functionality of each tool and its application’s field is briefly described here. For more details, a link is available to
