Journalist : Good afternoon everyone, thank you for joining us on the Ellen show, today I’m with a special guest, the famous man who made all your Halloween night very creepy, I know you’re all waiting for him, so no more riddles, let me introduce you James DeMonaco the famous American director, screenwriter and producer of American Nightmare, one of the most successful horror movie in the world, right James ?

James : Hi everyone, first thank you for inviting me on this set. By the way, I can say that I’m very proud to say it, because yes it was a real success.

Journalist : And do you expect that or not at all ?

James : hmm.. honestly it was a lot of work and imagination to write the script, find characters, play it on stage so I knew all the efforts of the entire production team will paid but not on a global scale, I was very surprised when I realized that my movie was watched by the entire world.

Journalist : Yeah I confirm, so this is why you made tree others because I watched all of them and they was so good and scary, so people were wondering the reasons.

James : no no in reality it was planned from the beginning except the last because I wasn’t satisfied of the end of the third. It was very hard to convince all the production team.

Journalist: For the people who actually didn’t know the story can you explain it to them in few word?

James: Yes of course, it’s a dystopia world were people can kill whoever they want only during one night, all the emergency numbers are out of service with no medical assistance, the goal is to survive during 24 hours.

Journalist : Well, now we are gonna talk more precisely about the story and your influences, James can you explain us ?

James: Yes of course, in reality my inspiration was my daughter, in fact, the night of Halloween, we were together on her bedroom to watch an horror movie with the candy she brought from the neighbor when she suddenly ask me: dad did you heard about the murder of the criminal David last year? I said no why? and then she explain me all about the story, I was very chocked and surprised because I find out that he was true. The next day I started to write in memory of him because I think he didn’t deserve that. It’s not legal.

Journalist: Even if the world that you created it’s a dystopia could you live in?

James : Yes, without hesitation, all my family think that I’m crazy but actually yes I really want to try it, to know what it’s feel to be in a danger without any option except the leak.
