- Hey boy! You look like excited, what's happening?

- Hey, sure I am, I have just left the detention center !

- OH REALLY? What a coincidence, I am a journalist, my name is Lily Thoresson, and I have to do a research on the persons who left the detention center. Can I ask you some questions?

- Of course you can! What do you want to know?

- Firstly, introduce yourself!

- No problem, I'm Javier, a twenty-year-old boy, I've got 2 brothers and I love the skateboard since I live in California. I'm from Mexico where my parents live. I'm an undocumented person, that's why I was in detention center.

- Oh okay! Are you ready to integrate the community and what's your project now?

- Honestly, I'm very happy to integrate the community, but I really don't know how I will begin my new life, that's scaring me. The first thing I must do is to see about my visa and the way I will have my documents. It will be complicate because I used to help my brothers before I entered the detention center, and now nothing changes.

- I can understand what you're feeling now, I passed through it 15 years later and I spent 2 years in the detention center. What about you? How long did you stay in?

- I stayed 2 years, since 2012. I remembered this day. I was in a skate park wtih my little brother and our friends, we laughed, we danced on music, it was a really cool day. But in the afternoon, the cops came in the skate park and told us that we had to show our documents to them because there were drug traffickings near this place. Except that, we didn't have documents with my brother, and we had to say what we were to the cops.. we were undocumented.

- You were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

- Yes.

- I can remember that the living conditions were not very good in the detention, I hope they weren't for you?

- They were good, just the food and the bed. The food was disgusting, when I ate a steak, it was like I was eating a shoe's sole, and the legumes, we can't speak about it, PLAS-TIC arf. Then my bed was uncomfortable and it was scratching. My sheets smelled like feet. Except that, all the day I could smell the bleach and cleaning produces. So I thought it was clean.

- Don't worry, the sheets were scratching me all the time 15 years ago! Is it too private or can I ask you what was your life like before?

- Oh if I can help you, I can tell you my story. I was born in Mexico. My parents lived in a shantytown around Mexico, I would sleep on the floor, eat unhealthy food. I went to school during 5 years. During halftime, I was playing football with my friends and there was a soccer team, but I couldn't enter in because I wasn't fast enough. Then, my parents had 2 boys. Since this moment, the life was very hard, to eat, to sleep, to drink, to have a good health. So my parents decided to put me and my brothers in a bus to go in California without documents. They sent us to a place where probably, we will have a better life. But they didn't know that they sent us in hell... We couldn't find a place
