Who became very rich? What did they do with the new money? What products did they import from the colonies? Who produced them? Who bought them? How did the slave trade work?

The citizens of Liverpool got very rich. They were bought slaves. They imported from the colonies, tabacco, coffee, chocolate, sugar and cotton. The slaves produced all that. The colonies bought their production. It worked like this, they went and got the slaves in Africa then they took them to America and made them work to produce after the crops got to Europe

The Liverpool Merchant was the first slave ship that sailed from Liverpool to West Africa in October 1699. Liverpool wan a slave trade leader because of its geographical location, it could be easily reached by rivers and canals so that trade good was brought cheaply to the port. Nearly all principal Merchants, citizens and even many mayors were involved in the slave trade.
