What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.

My full name is Svenn Mivedor and I am from Togo in West Africa. Up until this

point in time I was raised in a multitude of environments. In Ivory Coast where

I was born and where I currently reside, in Tunisia where I spent most part of

my childhood, and in my home country, and in Togo where I entered High School.

Growing up in this multitude of environments had exposed me to various

population and allowed me to appreciate the difference and richness in people.

This exposure had equipped me with the capacity and the intelligence to adapt

to various cultures and different ways in which people approach life.

I was raised by my mother and father. My childhood had been influenced by my

they are as long as they have good character. Early in my childhood in

Tunisia, I had several friends from many different countries. However, my two

best friends, which it seemed as if, I had known forever are both

Africans. One was very active and always looking to create challenging and

difficult situations and the other one was calmer but he would intervene to

bring clarity in our ideas and actions. I was the one who usually will bring

their ideas together and add my own contribution and energy to make the whole

set of ideas unique and worthwhile for us.

From an early age, I knew I was not like everyone else and felt the need to

have my own way of thinking and style. For instance, most people would be

wearing Nike sneakers and I will be wearing Vans. This is not due to any

financial constraint
