b)The Great Debaters is a film who talks about a Profesor at Wiley College who teach his students how to debate in 1935 which was successful because not long after they went on to challenge Harvard.

12 Angry Men is a film who talks about a juror (number 8) who slowly manages to convince the others 11 juror that the case of the murder is not as clear as it seemed in court.

c) The Great Debaters and 12 Angry Men are two films that show us the power of words to change people’s ways of thinking about race and justice.Power of word in 12 angry men

a) The 9th juror supports the 8th juror because he thinks it isn’t nice to stand up alone against other and he also think that this case needs to be clear out and that it is important to spend time on it. He says, “this gentleman has been standing alone against us. Now he doesn't say that the boy is not guilty, he just isn't sure. Well it's not easy to stand alone against the ridicule of others, so he gambled for support and I gave it to him. I respect his motives. The boy is probably guilty, but - eh, I want to hear more.”

This emample shows that the juror 8 influenced in a good way the juror 9 to vote “not guilty” with his words.

The 10th juror is a bad person, he doesn’t have a good soul. He is creepy, nasty and especially very racist. In the middle of the stoty, he starts saying very rasict things and putting down people who live in slums, he insult them and say very mean things without eaven thinking about what he’s saying.

This example shows us how the power of words change people mind. Either about justice or either about racism. After the 10th juror talked, all the juror turned their back on him because they didn’t wanth to hear those mean things. That exactly shows us how the power of change can be turned in a very good way.

Power of words in the great debatures.

What Samantha Book did is very courageous, she stands up against all the whrite rascis person. And maybe with the power of word, she made think the white and there is going to be less segregation.
