i’m going to talk about the notion of progress. To begin with, I would like to give a definition of progress. So, Progress is an evolution, a change . It can either be social, technical, or scientific, and contributes towards making the world a better place.

To answer this question I will present three documents “Man VS machine”our biggest existential threat and stephan hawking on Ai.

First, scientific techniques go farther and farther and sometimes even go beyond fiction. Indeed, in this article of the Huffington Post dating from February 17, 2011, it speaks of a computer called Watson. He participates in a game TV show called "Jeopardy". At the time of his invention, he could only do simple calculations of mathematics. Then he quickly evolved, beating champions of chess, until becoming Watson, a TV player like no other! He is described as a real feat by experts in the field of technology.

and that was amazing we started with flints stone now we created an Ai who can interacting with us and beating us in a game which we created that was idea of progress

progress is an evolution but for somethong that can be a danger As can be seen in the article of the Guardian dating from october 27 2014 Where Elon speaks dangers of AI.For him AI it's danger they may  destroy humain kind, he compares machines to demons.also in the web site idependant dating from october 8 2015 stephen hawking has warned that Ai machines could kill us because they are too clever.Unlike Elon for SH Ai is not evil creature who want to destroy us but  we would be as meaninless to them as ants or snails.they baoth agree to say Ai CAN be a danger for the humannity and we need to control them.
