Myths and heroes

I/ Introduction

Myth : A myth is a legendary story about a hero or deal with people who did spectacular thing or miraculous situation who made history, the myth travel in time in many places in anytime.

The myth is not necessary be real indeed mythical story are not real

Hero : A hero is a person who is courageous brave strong it’s a person who left a mark in history who people speak about after their death heroes are the person who are admirated and people in the entire world know their story or heard about it.

Problématique : How can heroes using non violent method can influence the world ?

I would like to speak about 2 heroes who influence the world and stay in the memories forever.

II/ Développement

M.K Gandhi was a indian who was a lawyer he fought for his right when in south africa he has the first experienced of racism injustice and discrimination

Gandhi was a man polite shy and calm but confont of the situation he decide to fought and protest against the british law and for his rights.

When he came back in his country he use non-violence and passive resistance and civil disobediance for exemple did boycott to british salt then he do the salt march.

And has the independance of India and change the world for the better beacause he made other hero like Martin Luther King Jr.

There is an other hero who influenced the world and in the USA it’s Martin Luther King Jr he was american and like Gandhi he experienced racism discrimination and injustice.

MLK influenced the world by using non violence methods just like Gandhi who he his model  he fought for civil rights for the black people who was discriminate refers to the bus case of Rosa’s Parks who started the fight for the rights of black people and then MLK started his journey as a hero  

his weapon was non violent resistance and meeting at different place of the United States.

MLK is a hero for Afro-American people with is method he agreed to submit a law for civil rights afro american. For using passive resistance and no hurting killing people he is a hero for everyone who believe in his dream.

We can also speak about Mandela but its a different context as Gandhi and Martin because his party use his own method to sabotage the govnerment and the action was dangerous many of them was violent militants and don’t use non-violent method but like started riot.

But the action was loyal because it was to broke the appartheid, when he was hiding Mandela continue to operating secretly and he was arrested and emprisonned in Robben Island after many year he was elected president the first black president of SA that was a big achievment for someone who was in prison and a big turn in the world because Mandela influence the world he fought against appartheid and with efforts he received the nobel prize price with former president De Clarke that was a big event with that Mandela stay in the memories as a hero who fight for his rights he was charismatic and respected by all.
