Fast foods are foods that can be prepared and served very quickly. Most fast foods are junk food. Junk food is a term of food containing high levels of calories from sugar or fat with little protein and vitamins.

According to some different news, it’s shown eating habits of different groups and as a result 72% of these groups eat fast food at least once in a week. It also shows that 60% of people are having diabetes and obesity problems. The food is prepared in factories, and chemicals are added to improve its taste and smell. From one country to another, the restaurants always look the same. They all serve same meals, which are cooked by machines. The people who work in the kitchen don’t learn any skills and they are very badly paid. Two-thirds of America’s fast food workers are under 20. Young people are also important customers. Advertisements are often designed specially for children, who may get toys and games when they go for a meal. Companies even pay schools to advertise burgers and soft drinks. About 25% of the young people in America are overweight and the problem is getting worse. Americans spend over $100 billion a year on fast food. Every day about a quarter of them visit a fast food restaurant. The three largest companies have more than 60,000 restaurants across the world, and they open several new ones every day.

Junk food companies try not to show the nutrition. Table specially sugar in order to keep the profits coming.

The positive consequences about junk foods are that first of all they are fast to prepare. People have not to wait hours for eat the lunch or dinner. They also are tasty.

The negative consequences are that most of fast foods contain high amount of sodium, which increases the risks of high blood pressure. There are many harmful influences of fast food on health, such as obesity, diabetes, heart attack etc. Obesity can also lead to other complications like increase in the cholesterol level, blocking of the arteries and physical comfort. The trains-fat containing in fast foods gradually accumulate in the liver and damage it.

It has some ways to avoid the risks of fast food like below:

-pick out health salads and other fast items which will minimalist if not eliminate the risks.

-we should try to avoid soda or other soft drinks and instead consume fresh fruit juices and smoothies.

In my opinion, we should stop eating fast foods because now you can see how many negative consequences it has and how positive consequences it has. Me, personally, I don’t eat every week or every day fast food because then I will not have all vitamins my body needs. I can say that in a month I eat maximum twice. I like to eat them but my mom doesn’t accept. She cooks every day healthy foods so I don’t need to eat fast food. Some persons that I know said me, when they eat fast food they throw up or they have pain because fast foods are unhealthy foods.
