The day of Valentine's Day Joel saw Clementine kissing someone else at Barnes and Nobles. The young woman did not recognize him. Joel reads a message from Lacuna, a laboratory specialized in erasure. He understood that Clementine had erase him from her memory. Their relationship became stressful and clementine was unfortunaten. Joel decided to erase Clementine of his memory

The performances of the actors, Jim Carrey for Joel and Kate Winslet for Clementine, are excellent. They knew how to appropriate their characters it is absolutely remarkable. They are very convincing. It's a movie full of wonderful characters. The dialogue between the characters is clear, realistic and convincing

Throughout the film the music brings a melancholy atmosphere. It shows the emotions of the characters. It brings more impact and underlines a mood.

The story is happening in New York. Clementine and Joel will meet in Montauk. The most interesting setting is the one in Joel's mind. It's a surreal place. In his mind the places and the time changes constantly. This gives a scary and nostalgic atmosphere.

Special effects are used in the film, giving an unrealistic and overdimensioned side as can be seen in the spirit of joel. The effects are simple and keep the story realistic.

This film is filled with emotion. The characters are very endearing. It is a very beautiful film. I highly recommend it. It is well worth seeing.
