Gabrielle Chanel has no references in life, except for an aunt who will teach her the basics of sewing.

Gabrielle Chanel, known as "Coco Chanel", born in 1883, is a fashion designer,

a great French dressmaker famous for her haute couture creations, and was the first seamstress to launch her own perfumes. She is at the origin of the house of Chanel, "the symbol of French elegance". A pioneer (success story) in the clothing sector, she has spent her entire career at the head of one of the biggest icons in cosmetics. 

She has contributed greatly to the animation of the fashion scene, and women find in her creations a different touch from what the couturiers of the moment were proposing. By popularizing a new style of clothing, Gabrielle Chanel has succeeded in introducing a new way of discovering femininity. Her products have thus met with enormous success, and have been sought after by Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy. This legendary woman died in Paris in 1971, and it is only thanks to her strong personality that she became the icon.

The icon that freed the woman,

At a time when only men had the power, Coco Chanel dares to defy these rules without caring what anyone says. Very early on, she made a name for herself thanks to her outspokenness and her will to impose her style. Mademoiselle Chanel will be the first to turn away from clothes: she adopts the trousers, then reserved for men. But what the women of the time will remember is her refusal to wear the corset, then essential to put the feminine forms forward: "Coco Chanel freed the woman by removing the corset, the big hat and the veil. »
