I am going to tell about the notion of myths and heroes. I’m going to give the definition of the heroes. Heroes are brave because they risk their life and freedom. They are determined and they struggled for a cause and for all the people.                                 They fight for a fair cause. Heroes can be found in different areas. The question is Are heroes necessary for a society? In a first part we'll see Heroes dead for a cause, then we'll tell about today's heroes.

First, we know many heroes in our society as Mandela, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, and more. Nelson Mandela was one of the historic leaders of the fight against the blacks’ discrimination and was the first black president of South Africa. Nelson Mandela advocated a peaceful opposition and the abolition of the laws of Apartheid. He spent ¼ of his life in prison and he underwent humiliation. He developed equal rights and he joined his ex-ennemies to get Nobel Peace Price.                                                                           Martin Luther King is one of those heroes. Martin Luther King was a heroes because he put in place many actions like the defending black and poor people rights. He was a leader in the massive civils rights protests at Birmingham, Alabama, that drew the attention of all America indeed. He was a heroe because he don't have a normal life. We can prove that with his speech “realized in 1963 with the legendary sentences “ I have a dream”. He was a heroe because he change people mentality.

Then, today there are again heroes to defend a cause, Malala is one of them.                       Malala Yousafzai is a pakistani schoolgirl who in 2014 is became the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. She started a campain for girls'education because it's complicated to go to school in their country. She was a shot in the head in October 2012 by a Taliban gunman and she survived an assault. In 2017 she countinued her campaign and has taken it around the world.

To conclude it can be said that society needs heroes to gives hope and help them. Moreover people dream of their heroes which become their role model. Indeed we want to have the same qualities, the same courage or the same power. It is important to remember that anybody can be a hero in our daily life.
