Myth et heros :

 I am going to talk about the notion of myth and heroes. First of all i would like to give a quick definition of that notion. A hero is a person admired for his achievements, noble qualities and great courage. They can be fictional like Superman, Batman and others…But here, we shall be interested at the that hero we studied in class, (Mettre Le héro) . It’s the main character of the storie of : (Mettre) who (Explqiuer) . But also, heroes can be real too, they are generally people recognized for their career and their impact on the modern society, like Barack Obama, the first black president of the USA.

 Now, I’m going to focus on Barack Obama, the Hero of my presentation. (exemple de Garelik en parlant des noirs), the hero of modern times.

He was born in in Hawaii  and up by his mother because his dad died in a car accident. He makes big studies first and foremost at Columbia College then at Harvard. Before become president he worked as community organizer, politician and statesman .In the time, there was a lot of racism in the USA, nevertheless Obama succeed to become the 44th president in 2009. He is the first African American president to be elected in the USA. Obama completed foreign policy goals: he ending the war in Iraq, securing nuclear weapons from terrorists.

 Now, i will talk about the myth ; wiches of salem.

The myth about Salem witch trials began during the spring of 1692, after a group of young girls in Salem Village, Massachusetts, claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several cause of witchcraft.

Eighteen others followed the mouvement and women and children were accused after some months. By September 1692, the hysteria had begun to abate and public opinion turned against the trials. But the trial was not redone because in this period the justice had the total power and did not accept to make a mistake. But after, the Massachusetts General Court  annulled these verdicts against whiches andg ave indemnities to their families.
