Explosion outside of the Trump International Hotel in LAS VEGAS

1. Hey everyone, today In this presentation, we’ll dive into the correlation between the US presidential elections and the insecurity in the USA
2. First, we will remind ourselves about the American elections. After explaining what happened, we will see the relations with the last elections. Finally, we will conclude with an outlet.
3. To remind everyone, on November the 5th of last year, the 45th president of the US Donald Trump defeated the current vice president Kamala Harris with 312 against 226 electoral votes.
4.  So what happened is there was an explosion outside of the Trump International Hotel. It happened on the first day of 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a truck bombing: the car was a Tesla Cybertruck and we are gonna talk about this detail later. Inside the Tesla, there were firework mortars and also gas canisters. The perpetrator was Matthew Livelsberger, he was an active-duty USA special force, and he actually killed himself with a gun inside the car after driving the car just in front of the hotel before the explosion. The explosion resulted in 7 injured and 1 dead who was the perpetrator himself. His motivation was unclear but according to the FBI, it is possible that it was a terrorist attack against the new president Trump.
5. Now we are going to see the connection between the explosion and the presidential elections. First, the explosion happened in front of trump international hotel with a car of the brand of Tesla. Tesla is a company owned by Elon Musk. Elon musk is a businessman, a billionaire and now a politician. That's right, he's the future co-head of the trump administration's department of government efficiency. Next, like the FBI said the explosion happened also in front of Trump International Hotel and the use of the Tesla Cybertruck was in the perpetrator’s mind. And finally, the FBI found 2 letters written by Matthew himself. In his 1st letter, he told "fellow service members, veterans and all Americans" to "wake up" to the "weak" government and that "we are being led by weak and feckless leaders who only serve to enrich themselves". In his 2nd, he denied the bombing being a "terrorist attack" but instead a "wake up call" towards a collapsing United States. And also, he explained why he used fireworks because it was the best way to do so since Americans "only pay attention to spectacles and violence."
6. To conclude we have seen that the explosion outside of the Trump international hotel was a threat to the new government and it caused insecurity in the USA.

We can also think of the attack of the capitol by Trump supporters after the official results of the 2020 presidential election, which caused 5 dead and more than 150 injured
