Introduction:

Hi everybody, we are the MAJE agency and we are going to present you the advertisement campaign to the product “dance tights”. So as you told us, the dance tights are basically a collection of tights which don’t fray! So through the different supports you are going to see, you could observe the several messages you want to diffuse.

So, the campaign is based on 4 different supports: 2 banner ads; a comic which will be displayed on magazines and a tv ad.

In order to have a better comprehension the choice of the support, the message diffused and their components, we will explain you each support at a time.

I. The two banner ads:

Basically, the comic is a full page ad which will be displayed on magazines intended to girls and women. There is a teenage girl who is talking directly to the readers. Therefore, this ad is aimed at girls and women facing the tight trouble: I mean frayed tights.

The main goal of this ad is to inform people about the features of these tights (their resistance and quality) in emphasizing on a daily situation. Moreover, we decided to promote it through a comic because we know that when you read a magazine you tend to take the time to do it.

Now let’s talk about the advertisement more deeply. So this is a funny comic with only one character in, who is a teenage girl. This girl is directly addressing the person reading.

Actually, during the story the girl is not using the product we want to promote but a competitive one. At the beginning, she says hi and then tries to share an experience with the reader about tights. As you can see on the comic, she says “I know you guys once faced this classical trouble, when you decide to wear THE cool skirt: the frayed tights ». At this moment she is trying to catch the attention of the girl reading. Then she acts like she wants to give a tip to the reader and so she mention the “dance tights” as if it was THE solution of the problem: “Well, girls, now I found the best solution for you”. Thus, when you read this comic, you can have this sensation that your problem is about tights is resolved. Actually, this comic has a psychological approach because it’s really trying to fit the way of thinking of the reader.

Finally, at the end, there is a little part on the benefits of the tights such as its resistance, its material and more which provide the reader with technical information about the tights.

In the main, the ad is quite simple. The background is white, the only things you can see is especially the girl because we wanted to emphasize on the relation between the girl and the reader as if the girl were with her. That is why we avoided details regarding the character’s environment in order to merge it with the reader one. Finally, at the bottom of the page you can notice the discreet logo of the brand so that the reader can see what brand these tights are about. But we didn’t want to highlight the brand because we really needed that, when the reader sees the ad, she doesn’t know what this is about. The logo will appear in the end like the solver product of the problem.

So you can see that the space of the ad is mainly devoted to the comic while the logo is really understated. It is purely a persuasive and humorous ad. Actually, through this ad we are trying to catch the attention, then meet the need of the audience and finally provide with proof thanks to the technical aspects. Moreover, we chose the slogan “the fighting fit” because we want to highlight on this endless fight with tights and there we have the solution to this problem.
