Hello, my name is , and I’m studying in I’m preparing an HND. During my studies, I had to carry out 2 internships one in May 2018 and the second in January 2019. Before finding my internship, I had to drop a lot of CVS, and I was confronted to a lot of refusals in different companies.
is located in NICE at . It is a training organization specialized in security, it is composed of a president AURELIEN BAUP and a director ALDRIC CASSATA who is my tutor.
The company is located at 30 minutes from my home by public transport and walk, so I took the tram ,the bus and I walked to go to work . I worked from 9am to noon and then from 2pm to 6pm. There was no dress code. And the working conditions were very good as well as the relationships between the bosses. They use the tu and use an informal language. I felt very good because they trusted me and treated me as if I were a full employee.
Being considered an employee I had a lot of work in addition to my project which was to develop the notoriety of the company.
During the 12 weeks of internships I was able to see the evolution of the company between the first year and the second year. I had the opportunity to discover the different aspect of a management assistant’s job.
Many missions have been entrusted to me. To perform these actions, my tutor, after describing my internship tasks and assisted in my work, left me free to organize my work and complete my tasks. I really appreciated this approach, which allowed me to work autonomously and improve my organizational skills.
The missions carried out were both administrative activities and professional activities.
I organized and participated in an audit concerning the awarding of the fire safety certificate. I also organized a training session and prospected clients. I had to handle customer reception, order receipt, phone call processing and mail management. All these tasks are essential tasks for the company. I also set up the company’s website www.ae2sformation.com, which did not yet. This website allowed this one year old company to develop its external communication to try to increase the numbers of its clients.
What I liked is that during my internship, I was able to put into practice what I had learned in class and I acquired many new skills in management and secretarial assistance: organization and prioritization of work. I have developed a greater sense of organization by planning my work. I gained more independence and Ioften, I did my job autonomously, while applying the instructions given. I was able to quickly join the team and gain the ability to access customer files and connect with customers and suppliers.
My internship at AE2S FORMATION was very informative. Beyond the discovery of the profession and activity, I learned how the organization of work in the different departments of such a company worked. In addition, the friendly relations maintained between the managers of the company, whatever the activity carried out by each one of them, taught me to behave in various work situations.
Yet I encountered some difficulties to get used to the software of the company at the beginning and to manage the stress in front of a new situation.
