Know your mind

Everyone fails in life. At one point or another, you’re going to suffer through failure. If you haven’t already experienced some monumental failures, then you just wait and see. - I don’t say that because I’m pessimistic – it’s the realistic in me speaking here.

The problem here is that most people associate failure with complete defeat. I know, because I’ve failed MANY times over. I was failing at studies, making relationships, life in general. And I felt a sense of total and absolute defeat.

In fact, before having to suffer through failures, one after another, I never realized the importance of failing, I never realized why Liverpool FC fans still sing and say: “don't be afraid of the dark, at the end of the storm there is a golden sky, Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown, walk on, walk on with hope in your heart”.

When we fail, we learn. We grow and mature. And remember, “There is always light at the end of the tunnel.”

Try to convince your mind that everything in your life is ephemeral. Always get prepared to lose something or someone. The value that you’ve given to that stuff or to that person is the value that you created by yourself, which is absurd!

Lost, is a part of our lives. Accept the failure you felt in the experience you lived in but, be careful, every experience has its special taste; don’t let the bitterness of your past ruin your present.

Wish for the best and expect the worst. You run toward something or someone with enthusiasm (the best) but once you live this experience, it will be another interpretation. The behavior you attach to that thing or to that person when you lose it is different (the worst).Your heart start beating and you get furious and sad because of the value you gave. Sadness is normal, but when it gets out of the way, it becomes abnormal. You’ll just waste time, energy and emotions for nothing in exchange.

We, as human beings, are different. Some people keep being haunted by their past. They try to impose their points of view on others because of their bad experience. This is ridiculous! The past is just a shadow; it’s only a creation of their perception, the perception that shapes their reality.

You have to be aware, the way how your mind shapes your reality is your true reality ‼

So, control yourself, think about your perception, and think always about something called change because I’M NOT YOU and YOU’RE NOT ME!!

Thank you.
