                         STORYTELLING IN ADVERTISING MIDTERM HOMEWORK.

🡪 The story of a brand or a story.

It all began in the '87’s, when Amr was born.

Amr lived in an Egyptian countryside, his parents were young farmers known for their honesty and seriousness.

Years passed and Amr inherited a small inheritance, which was the beginning of a great history.

After the death of his parents, Amr, 23, inherited a small piece of land that he began to cultivate, he had to find a source of income at all costs. He had not entered any universities because of the very high cost of universities in Egypt. But he was passionate about business, he read a lot. Unfortunately for him it was impossible to start something without having a minimum of income and ideas.

One day Amr went to the town market, and decided to buy fresh fruit juice he was a fan of it. He bought a bottle under a bright sun and decided to open it and drink it. He was surprised that the taste was extremely bad, and having had farming parents he knew what he was talking about. The fruit was not fresh as the trader claimed.

He went home and decided to think, to appeal to his creativity how can he start his business with virtually no income? After moments of uncertainty, he decided to go ahead and he had nothing to lose.

He decided with the little money that his parents had bequeathed him to cultivate fruit, he began with fruit that his parents adored in their tributes. That is to say: oranges, strawberries and mango.

He took care of it as if he had to look after a little child. He dedicated all his time, all his love for his fruit.

Often at night he spoke to them, complimenting them, encouraging them to push.

Aside from all this Amr was trying to cultivate himself as best he could to try to have a minimum of know-how about launching a brand. He knew it wasn’t going to be easy, he had to have a unique style.

Every week he would benchmark at the market, he would buy dozens of bottles of fruit juice and work to understand how do other brands differentiate themselves, why do customers move to one brand and not the other? Little by little he created a business plan and a method that he carefully followed.

Sometime after the fruits were finally ready, so quickly he asked friends to come and taste them and compare them with the fruit juices found on the market.

Everyone agreed the fruits cultivated by Amr were very good, juicy, aesthetically very pretty to see.

Everything was perfect. The question now was how its fruit would get to market. As previously said, Amr was following a plan his first goal was to make his fruits known to companies. He then decided to take his fruit and go into town.

He knocked at the door of several companies, many in himself was reluctant to trust a young man of 23 years old who had in his possession a small land that cultivated 3 to 4g maximum of fruit per season. Yet he was very determined, his efforts finally paid off when a company finally agreed to open its doors to him.
