ff srwtsFrançois René de Chateaubriand, a French writer, who published in 1802 his autobiographical novel "René". It is one of the first and most famous authors of romanticism, he is considered one of the founders of this movement in French literature at that time. In the single "Stand up quickly, desired storms," we find the principal in the country after the death of his father figure, and he tells his feelings. Then, using this sample we will try to analyze the suffering of the hero, his special relationship with the surrounding as well as his desire to escape the evil which he is suffering in nature. In this excerpt, we can observe many romantic features in a first step, consider how the character sees nature as a reflection of his soul, and then later we see the instability of sentimental hero.

In this passage, the narrator talks a lot about the nature, he tells us that how nature is present everywhere. When Rene was talking about nature he was speaking in a very sad way as if he wasn’t talking about nature but about himself. He was describing the state of mind. The narrateur uses uses the lexical field of sadness throughout this extract ,example "desert" "forest" "storm" "clouds" "rock" "valley" so this lexical field of nature demonstrates how nature is present in his life. This proves that how he wanted to become

René Need to escape it uses a lexical field of motion examples walks, traveling, migration, large Pasquin gives us the impression that Rene had a willingness to move more the narrator often uses metaphors such Often I took eye birds of passage flying .... I wanted to be on their wings

Rene had desire to escape from evil by becoming someone else he uses metaphor to show us ex: "Sometimes I wish I was one of those warriors wandering among the winds, clouds and phantoms" Which shows that Rene wanted to die during the war with others. Another metaphor when he says "I imagined the skipped edges distant climates or they [birds] went; I wanted to be on their wings» Shows that Rene wanted to travel and explore more, but it's impossible to be on birds, they are too small. He wanted to walk in the sky, but it did not happen then all it shows us that the hero wanted to escape, to get away from the pain of living.

To conclude, we can say that this extract René tells the unhappiness of the hero at the same time as all the Romantic generation of the early 19th century. We saw earlier emotional disorder René, existential vacuum, and he felt his use of nature
