Why is English every more spoken?

English is now the universal language and can be understood everywhere in the world, it is the language of film, television, pop music and the world of computing. Across the globe, people know at least a few words in English.

When the United Kingdom became a colonial power, English was the language of the colonies of the British Empire. After the colonial era, some of the newly created nations have chosen to continue to use English to avoid political or commercial difficulties.

So at the end of the 19th century, its scope was global .The widely use of English was also advanced by the role of the Anglo-Saxon countries after World War II, in the establishment and organization of United Nations, for example.

The rise of the United States worldwide coincides with the progression of IT. English is the language of the technological revolution and the Internet. The computer keyboards, for example, are designed for the Latin alphabet, which is why Asians have had to develop complex techniques to type the words in their language.

Everything that happens inside computers is also dominated by English. The United States remains the most innovative nation in technology and so English is the dominant language for new technology.

The English language essential to internationalize?

Today, artists looking to reach a wider public turn to English, if you want to do business internationally, it is essential to speak English. If there is no need to speak English to a successful professional career, we can’t deny that it helps!

Moreover, thanks to the evolution of society, it is possible for students to study in other countries and most often English-speaking country to occupy in the future international works.

So all of these arguments explain why English is every more widely spoken.
