“…only compete where you have a competitive advantage. Warren Buffett refers to staying within your circle of competence” (Arthridge, 2006).

2. Communication skills in Leadership is significantly important to increase money

“Communicating well is worth $500,000 - or something like that” ( Buffett, 2009).

3. Leader should be capable and hard worker

“Companies with a sustainable economic advantage needs honest, capable, and hardworking leaders to retain their lead” (Michael J, 2008).

4. Warren exhibits good behaviors as a leader

“Warren Buffett decided to make a commitment to give his fortune to charity back in June 2006. Buffet's charity donation is approximately $30 billion, which is the largest donation in the history of the United States” (Michael J, 2008).

5. Warren Buffet has Democratic leadership

He allow subsidiaries to make decisions since he trust their management

6. Warren has Charismatic leader

It is because he has good confident and reputation in his business skills. When he does speech, he makes jocks and also gives business advices. There are many people who want to learn about business from Warren.

“Buffett’s speeches are known for mixing business discussions with humor” (Michael J, 2008).

7. Warren has remarkable investment strategies and leadership skills

- Mr. Warren Buffet's investment strategies and course of leadership are shining examples of characteristics shared by cognitive theorists. Cognitive theory is an approach of explaining behavior through perception, anticipation, and thinking.

8. Berkshire Hathaway has Participative leadership style since each subsidiary already has great business management skills

14. Motivation (Way of act of warrant to give motivation to employees)

1. Warren let subsidiary to make decisions since warren wanted no part of the day to day business talks. He focuses on controlling the money. This style gives motivation to employees since each companies have different styles of business styles and they can try what they want without controlling by outside. Warrant believes that this can maximize the subsidiaries knowledge and skills the best.

Warren, by trying to be a mentor, would often inspire his employees (Oppaperes.com , 2008).

2. Warrant trusts their subsidiary strongly and the relationship motivates the members of subsidiary.

“ He would compel his employees to achieve not by close supervision but by just the opposite, by trusting them”( Oppaperes.com , 2008 ).

3. One of subsidiary, Coca-Cola has career development training system for employees. There are chance to review how the employees have been working and what the best accomplishment for them was. Also, employees can get feedbacks by their bosses.

4. Coca- Cola has internal- job posting system. Employees can get information about which job position is available and they can choose their career themselves. It helps the employees to be clear about what they are hoping to do in the company. This style excites the employees since they can maximize their strangeness and characteristics. Also, it develops their knowledge and for their future career.

This would be Growth of Alderfer’s ERG Theory: Growth needs motivate people to productively or creatively change themselves or their environment. Satisfaction of the growth needs comes from fully utilizing personal capacities and developing new capacities. (Nateman& Snell, 2011)

5. Coca- Cola positively hires women and they can be manager in Japan. It motivate woman who desire to be successful in business since woman manager is not typical style in Japan. (Coca-Cola Japan, 2011)

6. Coca- Cola reward for Advertisement depends on the quality. It is because there is no guarantee if the advertisements always bring the result to the company’s goals. It gives motivation to advertising company to make better quality advertisements.

- This is one of TV commercial in Japan. Coca- Cola uses very popular female artist in Japan and the content is very unique.

15, Teamwork

1. Coca-cola is consisted with marketing, supplying, sales, manufacturing job.

a) The marketing job check trends in each country, analyze consumers, decide marketing strategy, and lead the activities.

b) There is strict quality standard in manufacturing to make safe products. Get help from specialists to produce new types of products and innovate new technology.

c) Have strong partner relationship between partner companies and work together to achieve the company’s goal in effective productivity, rapid responds to customer’s demands, development of customer services, and quality standards.

2. Through career development training system, the company can give the workers satisfaction since they offer internal- job posting system so it is able to meet with each personnel’s’ needs. The training system brings high performance norms and cohesiveness since if the workers can do something they are hoping, it motivate them more and also the productivity and performance increase.

3. Coca- cola has a system of building cohesiveness and high-Performance Norms

a) Keep the team small

Coca- cola Japan has online project which is made by about 7employees.

b) Help the team succeed, and publicize its successes

On the webpage, the members’ names of the project are displayed. The means that the members were chosen in the company to organize the project.
