1- The movie is set in 24 hours, and talk about a metro editor of the New York Sun called Henry Hackett who loves his job but falls down into a deep stress, letting go his family and putting his work first as his publisher Bernie White . Henry, seems to be lost and confused to not handle his personnal and professional life . His wife namely Martha is pregnant and an ex journnalist in The Sun . Hoping to help her husband ,she offerd achim to leave his work to become an assistant managing editor at the New York Sentinel but Henry doesn’t seem to accept the idea . Meanwhile,an intersting story pay his attention about the murder of two businessman and the arrestation of two african american teenagers for the crime, but his rival Alicia Clark the managing editor seem to have different headline of the story . Nothing can’t stop Henry , with his tough decisions to investigate more in order to get to the bottom of the story, so that to know the truth

Henry want to know the truth about the murder , he believes that the teenagers didn’t commited the crime , so he goes so far , he steals information about the case from the editor’s desk notes and reports it during a Sun Staff meeting

His wife Martha did some investigation for him. She discovers that the businessmen murdered stole money from their investor who used to work with the Mafia .

With this strong evidence, Henry become so determined to get the correct story and reveal the truth that he leaves a family dinner to go to the police station to get him admit the innoncence of the kids . Back to the office ,exciting about the exclusivity for the paper , Alicia had okay-ed the wrong story eventhough Henry comes back with the evidence proving the wrong

. He is so determined to get the correct story that he leaves a dinner with Martha and his parents that evening to go to the police station , to get him to admit that the kids are indeed innocent.. Henry and McDougal race back to the Sun office, excited about their exclusive for the paper. Because of the stubborness of Alicia to let him take over the front page news , Henry started a physical fight with Alicia .After a while Alicia, calls The Sun to change the headline to Henry’s story printed in time for the morning

2- The editors of the New York Sun choose front page depending on the story . If the story is attractive and can bring people to read the article , it can be used as a front page . Also the headlines is very important it should be big and eyecatching .

3- Henry Hackett , doesn’t seem to juggle his professional and personnal life . Henry's wife Martha (a fellow Sun reporter on leave and about to give birth, is fed up because Henry seems to have less and less time for her, and she really dislikes Alicia Clark. She urges him to seriously consider an offer to leave the Sun and become an assistant managing editor at the New York Sentinel, a fictional newspaper based on The New York Times, which would mean more money, shorter hours, more respectability... but might also be a bit boring for his tastes

4- « you are in management , if everybody loved you you would be doing something » Personaly , i think to accomplish desired goals and objectif you don’t have to be nice with everybody

5- « If you try to make this job about money , you will be nothing but miserable because you don’t get money , never have never will » that means that you should do your job with love , forget about money to do it good

6- « Gotcha » was a headline suggesting by Alicia for the story about two business man muredered but two teenagers , but Henry thinks that they are innoncent and thought about another headlines , more attractive and original like « Thet didin’t do it »
