I’m going to present the notion of Progress.

First of all I’m going to give a definition of “Progress”. The Idea of Progress is the theory that advances in technology, science, and social organization inevitably produce an improvement in the human condition. That is, people can become happier in terms of quality of life (social progress) through economic development (modernization), and the application of science and technology (scientific progress).

What are the effects of new technologies ? Positive or negative ?

We will first talk about the benefits of technology. Thanks to new technology, modern communication systems have drastically reduced the time of communication between two people. Today, communication between different countries is almost instantaneous. This greatly helps the development of a true global village. Consumers and companies can communicate more easily with foreign countries. Research is also simplified.
