Aqualisa Quartz: Simply a Better Shower

1 - Who are the consumers of Aqualisa (the uk business) ?

Aqualisa’s consumer s can be divided into two categories: individual buyers and property developers. Main three partner channels of distribution are Trade shops, Showrooms and DIY Sheds.

Individual customers category is divided into 3 segment based on price:

value customers, standard customers and premium customers.

Value customers are not interested first by good looks but concerned by convenience and low price. They usually need help from a plumber for advice or help to choose their type of shower. The plumbers usually install the shower as well.

They don’t want to spend money for any excavations. This low pricing segment tends to buy their product in trade shop, even if their primary customers are the plumbers.

This category of buyer also includes DIY (do it yourself) customers. These types of customers buy and install their own shower. They are interested in inexpensive models. And generally shop in at large retail outlets. The DIY sheds offered discount and do it yourself product which interested DIY customers.

Standard customers category are also trade shop buyers. They are mainly concerned with performance and service. Look and style are not the main criteria in the making purchase decision process. They are looking for plumber for help to select or recommend them a shower and eventually install it.

Premium segment are focused on high service and performance. Style and look are dominating criteria. This category of costumers mainly shops in Showrooms, which have consultants to help to choose the right product and offered installations service by subcontracting. In Showrooms, consumers are well informed in each product option and features. They don’t need a plumber to help to recommend or install them a shower.

Property developers: this customer’s category emphasis on performance. They are also price sensitive. They prefer reliable showers, which can work in multiple setting.

The property developers don’t face with the problems of water pressure. They use high-pressure systems. They don’t need a plumber to select them the product. They have a relationship with the plumbers who install the showers.

2-Which value does Aqualisa Quartz create for consumers? For plumbers?

Traditional shower did not satisfy consumers. A market research revealed that consumers wanted a shower that looked great, delivered good pressure and stable temperature and did not beak down. They also need that the shower was easy to use and install, reliable and long lasting.
