At the office , they create the system of the « amigo secreto » , this is a,secret friend.

Everyone pick up a name and thus they have to make him a gift.

Then they exchange secret messages where they write what they want and sometimes they write jokes so there are always lots of laugh !

and then when it’s the december 24th families are brought together to share a normal Christmas . There is the same traditions as the United Kingdom who are to embrace someone under the mistletoe, to prepare glass of sherry and a pie for Santa claus, and to eat a christmas pudding.

Then, the december 25th people open their gift in the morning and the rest of the day generally happens on the beach with the Australians who share a barbecue in the softness of the summer

the December 26th  , it’s the Boxing Day, the day following christmas when people don’t work and offer some gifts to the poorest, clean their home after the festival and also when there are culturals and sports events.

At the time of the New Year’s Eve who is celebrated with families or friends, there is a huge and splendid firework in Sydney, towards the opera house and the Harbour Bridge to celebrate the new year.
