Career:

When he was child rap was an escape.

In 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments

In 2012, Feuerstein's work attracted the attention of Xist Music.

He signed to Capitol Christian Music Group in 2014

 His song "Intro" is included in the video game Madden NFL 16

And "Destiny" is included in the video game MLB The Show 18.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making it his first chart topping album and the second artist in 2017 to release a No. 1 album without having charted on the Hot 100

Although he found his musical upbringing in Christian hip-hop, Feuerstein has denied his label as a Christian rapper

and it's very very sad, which is unique for a rapper who's a little bit more well-known for how angry, intense, and energetic he can get; but “Paralyzed” has a deeper meaning, it's really powerful. That’s why I love him.

It can be compared to poetry. Because the music is soft. The lyrics are beautiful and he uses sustained language.

Poetry or not poetry that’s the question.

Firstly I think rap isn’t poetry because the words and the way they are pronounced are violent, unlike poetry.. They often speak in prose and quickly. The music doesn't go with it and the rhythm and harmony aren't present. Moreover this isn't the same art. Poetry tells stories with sustained words, rhymes and the lyrics are structured. And poetry isn’t said with violence. Poetry is deep. Moreover, they often use the same topics.

But secondly I think some song are like poetry. For example “paralyzed”. Topics are seriously and important but it said with beauty.

So I believe rap isn’t poetry but there are exceptions.
