Biography : John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States serving from 1961 until his assassination in 1963 at the age of 46. He is considered as one of the greatest Presidents of United States who had only one dream: to bring his nation on the front seat as a leader of the world.

John Fitzgerald. Kennedy was born on 29th May 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts to a highly successful businessman Joseph Patrick Kennedy of Irish origin who later served as ambassador to Great Britain and Rose Fitzgerald. Although John was born in a rich Catholic family that already held a strong presence in politics.

In 1940 Kennedy graduated from Harvard University.

He joined the United States Navy in 1941 and became officer. After the United States entered the Second World War, Kennedy was given command of a PT boat.Sent to the South Pacific his boat was hit by Japanese. Even when badly injured, he led his team to safe place, so, he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for his bravery.

Back from the war, Kennedy represented Massachusetts's 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 as a Democrat, He married Jacqueline Bouvier on 12 September 1953; they had two children, Caroline and John Jr. A third child, Patrick was stillbirth .JFK was elected to replace President Dwight Eisenhower in 1960. He was the first President born in the 20th century, and the youngest elected to the office, at the age of 43. Kennedy is the only Catholic president, and is the only president to have won a Pulitzer Prize. Events during his presidency included the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the African American Civil Rights Movement and early stages of the Vietnam
