English Cambridge – Exam test

"Notting Hill" is my all-time favorite romantic comedy! It's a British film from 1999, directed by Roger Michell, and stars Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Their chemistry is amazing, and they portray their roles perfectly. The film is a mix of surreal and hilarious moments. From the birthday dinner to the encounters with the quirky roommate and the paparazzi, the stark differences between their worlds create both funny and romantic scenes. The story is about the unexpected meeting of a regular bookseller and a famous Hollywood actress. I highly recommend this film to my friends because it's not just a love story, but also filled with humor, especially from the hilarious character of Spike, the roommate. Plus, when I visited London with my class, I visit the iconic bookstore in Notting Hill, and I shop a bag in this shop.
