English : studying abroad

For our studies we have to do an internship abroad. To finance our trip, each group had to present a good project to collect a maximum amount of money.

The first initiative was to offer hairstyling services at school. The Hairstyling will start from 10€.With an investment of only 2€. But the problem is that we don’t  have enough people for this project. Only 3 hairstylers will be able to participate, this is insufficient.

The second initiative, was to organize sports tournament this is a good project because we already have all the equipment that we need at school. And everyone could contribute.

The third initiative, was to organize a videogame tournament I think we can join this idea with the second initiative. Because it will be the same day (Saturday), and it is a way to collect more money. Also is not any people who like to play videogame. So people will have a wide choice.

The initiative 4, 5 and 7 was to make and sell Suriname foods, cakes, crêpe, pancakes at the market or at school. We can also take advantage of this opportunity to sell food of different cultures like Haitian, Guyanese, French..

 For me, it is the best project because people are more interested in things to eat. And if we sell it outside of school it will be a better way for us to collect more than a thousand euros for this trip.

I did not forget the initiative 6, that was to ask companies if they could sponsor us. Is a good idea we can try it together. But unfortunately is not all the companies who want to help young people likes us.
